Migrating Email When Switching Hosting

When moving to a new host, it's important not to lose existing email. Follow these steps.

Step 1: Create Mailboxes on the New Host

In ZevsHost cPanel, go to Email Accounts and create the same mailboxes as on your old hosting.

Step 2: Configure Your Email Client

Use Thunderbird or Outlook to connect to both servers (old and new) via IMAP.

Step 3: Copy Your Emails

1. Add both accounts to your email client
2. Select all emails in the folders of your old account
3. Drag (or copy) them to the new account's folders

Step 4: Update MX Records

After copying emails, update your domain MX records to ZevsHost DNS. New emails will arrive at the new server.
